March 2022
The Tourism SuperBonus, a new look to your Hotel

The pandemic has generated a very substantial economic crisis that has damaged some of the major strategic sectors of our economy. To support the recovery, a number of economic aids have been issued such as new bonuses and tax credits for purchases and renovations.
One of the most important is the Tourism SuperBonus, which provides substantial benefits for accommodations.

Let's see together how this new tool can help the industry in its ascent.

SUPERBONUS AND HOTELLERIE RECOVERY

To cope with the growing difficulties related to the pandemic, the Italian government has developed a series of measures to help the economy. With this purpose, the so-called Superbonus 80%, better known as SuperBonus Tourism, was activated, as per the decree implementing the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

It is essentially a tax credit calculated on the basis of expenses made for specific interventions and a non-repayable grant, which can be claimed up to the deadline of Dec. 31, 2024.

This gives the sector the opportunity to move forward with dedicated interventions to modernize tourism facilities in response to increased competitiveness in the domestic and international markets.
Offering a modern facility with new services and furnishings allows the sector to better respond to new customer needs.

THE BENEFICIARIES OF THE TOURISM SUPERBONUS

Facilities that can apply for the incentive and enjoy its benefits are: hotels and hotels of any category, agritourisms, spas and bathing establishments, marinas, theme parks, fairs and conventions, and all outdoor recreational and hospitality businesses.

The Tourism Bonus is provided for several interventions including energy upgrading, extraordinary maintenance and the purchase of new furniture, the latter of which must be related to at least one of the main interventions.
The facility then has the honor of proving that these purchases result from interventions made to upgrade and renovate the property and not for a purely aesthetic issue.

TOURISM SUPERBONUS HOW TO APPLY FOR IT?

The Tourism SuperBonus can be applied for starting March 4 on Invitalia's portal; but as early as Feb. 28 it is possible to download its guide and request more information.

Two methods are provided: applying for a non-repayable grant of 50 percent of the expenses incurred (with a maximum amount of 40,000 euros) and a tax credit of 80 percent.
The two formulas can be combined with each other, but cannot coexist with other grants given for the same type of interventions.

THE BENEFITS OF THE TOURISM SUPERBONUS

Through such a SuperBonus, you will be able to initiate improvement work on your lodging facility and modernize the furnishings with savings of 80 percent of the expenses incurred.

If you are thinking of taking advantage of this opportunity, our sales department is available to discuss the issue in more detail and develop a bid for the furniture.
